It’s been another positive week for me both in the office and at college, see my top 3 learning points to find out why!
Top 3 learning from the week:
- College: At the end of last week’s blog I mentioned about taking a mock test at college this week. I can happily say that it went really well, and I got a distinction! Its amazing to see how much I’ve learnt so far. The knowledge test was based on many topics such as project management; finances; regulations and legislations and external factors affecting an organisation.
- Research Project: I was tasked with finding healthcare software businesses this week within a given location. I found this a really good project to showcase my research skills as it took a lot of searching to find software companies that specialise in healthcare.
- Top 200: The Leicester Mercury recently published a list of the top 200 companies in Leicestershire. I have been researching these companies recently for a project. It’s really interesting to see the amazing variety and quantity of companies that operate locally and how well they are all doing.
Next week marks the end of my days at college for now so it will be good to focus again on the learning of the recruitment process.
