Top 3 learning from the week:
- College: This week at college the topic we looked at was ‘diversity, equality and inclusion’. Within this topic we looked at the equality act and in particular the 9 protected characteristics. Throughout my college lessons we have been looking at company policies and this lesson also required me to have knowledge of the policies in place this time looking at the equal opportunities policy and our diversity pledge. We then reviewed some case studies and put our knowledge into action adding context to our companies.
- Leicester Digital Live 2019: On Tuesday RP Analytics attended LD19, this was my 1st event as an apprentice and I found it really insightful. - Nottingham Top 50: Towards the end of this week I have been working with RP Finance on a project. We have been looking at companies published in the top 50 for growth and turnover within Nottingham. I’ve then been researching them and collating my findings onto the database. It’s been a really great exercise for building my knowledge base and it’s also been great to see how well companies in the local area are doing! Next week I will be looking into Derby and Lincolnshire.
With half term next week, I will see a break in college. I am looking forward to continuing my learning process in the office and researching the top businesses in other areas.
