This week has been really great, and I feel like the skills that I have been learning throughout my time here at RP Analytics are starting to link together in order to create a recruitment process.
Top 3 learning from the week:

Legislations: This week at college we studied legislations where we looked mostly at health and safety and how the legislations and regulations affect our roles. As well as putting them in to context of our own organisation we were also given some case studies where we had to identify the legislation that covered the situation and how we would deal with a similar situation in our own role.

Managing Performance: Alongside the tasks set in the college lessons I have also been completing other tasks, this week I have been looking at managing my own performance and self-development. In this task I looked at the importance of initiative within the workplace and the skills that I have that will help with my self-development.

Candidate search and contact: Previously I have completed similar tasks and contacted candidates via email, however this time I have been speaking to them about the role over the phone. This has been a great opportunity to learn the process of gaining a candidate’s interest in a role and it has really helped me to join my skills together in order to create a flowing recruitment process (search, contact, format CV, upload it to the client). The skills learnt this week have been extremely beneficial as I will use them throughout my career in order to conduct the 360-recruitment process.
I’m looking forward to looking into Diversity, Equality and Inclusion next week at college and I am also excited to be attending Leicester Digital Live on Tuesday!
