RP Analytics proudly sponsor the Nottingham Business Analysis Networking Group events. This networking group was founded by several expert Business Analysts from various high-profile companies in the Midlands (Refinitiv, BJSS and Capita).
They identified the need for a Business Analysis orientated event in the East Midlands where passionate professionals in this area of work, as well as people looking to get into Business Analysis, can come together and share their ideas on various analysis methods. As my colleague Liam explained in his blog on the Artificial Intelligence event, we aim to attend great events such as this one to learn more about trending topics in the industry as well as getting to learn from the experts in their field of work.
Last week the event was kindly hosted by BJSS in Nottingham and Paul Moran, Service Design Lead at DVSA, shared his thoughts on Service Design Tools and how these can impact Change Delivery plans. He explained the necessity of mapping out the user stories for the current state as well as the predicted future state for any design processes in order to minimise the chances of delays of the completion of projects.
Paul outlined the “Service Blueprint” and how this would be beneficial to Business Analysis processes. This opened an interesting discussion between the attendees and how their own teams handle their projects in relation to Paul’s model.
For the first event in July there were around 25 people signed up and for the event last week we had over 50 people signed up. The next event will be on the 12th of November and if you’re looking to learn from experts in the Business Analysis world then I would highly recommend attending.
We are always happy to speak to people looking to organise their own events.
