Opportunities don’t happen, you create them

It’s surprising how quick time passes; at the end of this week I will have been at RP Analytics for 4 weeks! So far, it’s been a great opportunity and there is something new to learn every day my. At the end of last week’s blog, I mentioned a case study project, continue reading to find out what it has entailed so far!

Top 3 learning from the week:

  • Database Organisation:I have been tasked with an ongoing project to go through our company database to ensure that all the correct information is inputted and that the correct contacts with their information are uploaded. This is a great task that is helping to build up my industry knowledge and is broadening my understanding of the different desks here at RattrayParkin Group and what they recruit for.
  • Case study:Over the past week I have been working with my colleague Brogan to put together a case study for a new role in which we will be recruiting for. This project has entailed me looking at insights such as, candidates’ geographical location, salary expectations, current roles and industry sectors. It’s been a great learning curve and had allowed for me to gain a greater insight in the initial stages of recruiting for a role.
  • Charity Event: An abundance of teams have already entered our quiz night, however there is still space if you wish to enter (contact brogan@rp-analytics.co.uk)! This week has been brilliant, we have received so many great raffle prize donations. Its great to see how generous and supportive people have been for such a great cause. Keep your eyes open for more information as we begin to reveal some of the raffle prizes.

Thinking forward to next week I am hoping that I am able to further pursue my case study which will help me understand the next steps of the recruitment process.
