Web Developer - Derby

RP Tech are working alongside a supply chain solutions company to recruit a PHP Developer. My client offers services to pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, veterinary and consumer product manufacturing companies. You will provide support to the operation but will also be responsible for developing IT solutions for both internal and external customers.

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Web Developer will provide support to the operation but will also be responsible for developing IT solutions for both internal and external customers. 
Main responsibilities include providing technical support to users, developing, maintaining and testing software solutions, mentoring Junior Developers and working with the IT leadership team on the IT Strategy.

The ideal candidate should have good project management, interpersonal and communication skills. They will have excellent planning and analytical skills and a proven ability to use initiative and judgment to make correct decisions 

We are looking for a flexible individual that is confident, professional and tactful that is highly conscientious and committed to performance improvement, plus has notable problem-solving skills and embraces challenges 

Essential Requirements:

PHP, React, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and SQL; and experience in MySQL, PL/SQL, MSSQL, noSQL languages and Oracle. 

The ideal candidate should have a degree in programming or IT related subjects.
