Tax Director/Head of Tax - Birmingham

RattrayParkin are recruiting for a Tax Director/Head of Tax role for a progressive and well-established privately-owned firm in the centre of Birmingham. The role can offer the opportunity to progress to Partner level.

You will support a small tax team and lead the provision of day to day tax advisory and compliance work. You will also actively develop further opportunities within the existing client base.

You will work closely with the audit team, to ensure that clients receive a first-rate service. A lot of clients will be OMB’s. The ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders is essential.

In terms of background and experience, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

• ATT/ACA/CTA or relevant qualification
• Relevant tax experience – ideally corporate tax
• Strong technical skills
• Good relationship builder
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
