SQL Developer - Derby

In this role you will; 

• Work in an agile environment (SCRUM)
• Work on our flagship operational suite used in over 40,000 locations worldwide for a major global customer
• Monitor and tune a large (~8TB) production data mart
• Review queries for standards and performance
• Replace legacy SSAS cube queries with performant SQL equivalents (includes looking at alternative data storage solutions within SQL)
• Maintain and add new features to our enterprise BI and operational tool for a major global customer
• Learn new tools and techniques, be encouraged to push technical boundaries and further your professional development

About you

You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server environment, as well as experience working with large databases and dimensional modelling.

You’ll also have at least 3 years’ experience with the following technologies:

• C#
• ASP.NET
• MVC/Web API
• SQL Server
• JavaScript
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript front end frameworks such as Angular or Durandal is desirable.

You must also be able to demonstrate:
