Software Trainer

RP Analytics are currently recruiting a Software Development Trainer/ Mentor, to train and mentor learners in a variety of programming languages. You will have a passion for teaching, coaching and assessing young people to complete apprenticeship qualifications and develop their skills in a variety of Software Development roles.

Responsibilities:

Deliver effective learning in class-based study weeks and ensuring apprentices achieve their maximum potential throughout the training programme.
Ensure that assessment of Software Development programmes are delivered to the employers’ requirements.
Visiting learners in the work place, coaching and assessing against selected standards to successful outcomes against set targets.
Prepare, agree and review assessment plans with each learner.
Liaising and communicating with Apprentice employers/ line managers to ensure they are fully aware of how to support them to meet key milestones.

Requirements:

2-3 years' solid experience within a similar role
Experienced of teaching L3 & L4 IT Software Qualifications
Relevant sector skill knowledge of the workplace and subjects (IT, Web and Software Development)
Teaching qualification (i.e. PGCE/CTLLS or equivalent)
Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA, TAQA)
Programming related qualifications or Degree
