Software Developer - Northampton

RP Tech are working alongside a leading field services business in Northampton to recruit a talented .NET Developer. My client is a market leader in their sector with technology at the heart of everything they do. They are established and have experienced considerable success in recent years. You will be working on their core operating platform which is a management system providing real time data on performance which can also be used on mobile devices when required.

We are looking for someone to manage ongoing development concerns of the company mainly working on a business critical web application. As a Senior member of the IT team you will be expected to proactively contribute to resolve any issues which arise. Assisting and mentoring other members of the team who are less senior will also be a key requirement of the role.

Essential Skills required:

• Microsoft .Net Framework / C#
• ASP.NET – WebForms, MVC, Web API
• Entity Framework / Code First
• Database (SQL Server) – Ability to design and appropriately modify table schema and stored procedures
• Javascript
• Source control / TFS
• Good coding practices incorporating modern design patterns
