RP Analytics are currently working with an East Midlands based client who are leaders in their market across the UK and Europe - with Inventory and Supply Chain at the heart of their company.

The Planning and Inventory Management team is responsible for collaborating with the Merchandising, Marketing and Sales organizations to develop a forecast of customers needs and optimizing the replenishment of inventory from multiple sources, to include suppliers and manufacturers. 

The Senior Supply Chain Reporting Analyst will be an integral part of this team, with responsibility for developing, maintaining and monitoring a comprehensive set of reports, scorecards and decision support tools. 

The qualified candidate must be a self-starter and quick learner with razor-sharp analytical skills and strong mastery of Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g. TIBCO Spotfire, SAP BW). In addition, he/she will possess superb communication skills, positive attitude, thirst for personal growth while being results-oriented and business-focused. 

Your responsibilities:


· Develops and maintains key reports, scorecards and tools to enable daily, weekly and monthly business monitoring of key indicators (e.g. product availability, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, warehouse utilization, on-time delivery)

· Develops and automates critical decision reports and support tools to support best-in-class performance

· Ensures accuracy and integrity of key decision support tools and actively participates on various continuous improvement initiatives

· Monitors key performance indicators and conducts analysis to identify root causes and recommend improvement opportunities

· Maintains a complex set of tables, queries and procedures to ensure integrity of data interfaces for the planning systems

· Develops and monitor exception reports to identify interface issues & root causes and resolve system failures

· Generates and disseminates periodic performance reports and distributes them to various stakeholders (e.g. inventory and availability reports to the planning & sales) in a timely manner

· Supports ad hoc requests for analysis pertaining to inventory and product clean-up activities

· Ensures all activities are conducted with orientation to the business and are facilitated with speed, accuracy, quality, and a service attitude conducive to good relations

· Manage and contribute to the training & implementation of activities of process change

· Understand and document business requirements into functional specifications 

The Ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience

· Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Information systems

· Experience in an analyst role with a focus on supply chain/operations management

· Strong mastery of Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL and BI tools (e.g. TIBCO Spotfire, SAP BW).

· Familiarity with demand and supply chain planning applications

· Proactive personality in cross-functional teams.

· 5-10+ years of relevant experience. 

· Analytical, Customer Focus, Drive for results, Planning and Problem Solving skills.

· Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written. Other language skills (Dutch, German, Spanish, French and Italian) would be a distinct advantage.
