Senior IT Project Manager - Derby

A well-established and reputable IT services company is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join their office based in Derbyshire. 

What you'll do:

• Manage end to end client project delivery.
• Revenue as detailed in Impact section.
• Very large/ complex/ multiple regions or global.
• High/very high complexity legal and commercial issues.
• Manage project financials including P&L.
• Meet or exceed SOAR approved budgets.
• Provide reliable financial forecasts to the management.
• Manage business development 
• Identify and develop new opportunities with client.
• Support early qualification and opportunity assessment for large and complex opportunities.
• Act as opportunity manager for high risk deals.
• Manage client relationships.
• Manage complex multi-function and/ or global delivery relationships with senior and executive ("C" level) client management.
• Communicate the direct value our capabilities will provide to our business partners and customers.
• Manage project team.
• Manage internal as well as external resources with a team size greater than 40 people.
• Mentor and encourage skill development of project team members through others.
• Provide detail performance review input and development recommendations for key contributors.
• Mentor others, providing a role model and support for individual development.

About you:

• Advanced degree preferred.
• Substantial proven experience in project management or in like roles/businesses.
• IT infrastructure Project Management experience is required for this role.
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of key operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
• Recognised as a leader in the company's PM Professions community.
• PMP Certified.
