One of our well-established and reputable clients is looking for an exceptional IT Systems Project Manager to join their team. You will be expected to manage and deliver projects across several IT variables that will benefit their clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage business stakeholders, development team members, 3rd parties, clients and others as required to deliver IT solutions.
- Ownership of work breakdown structure, production of estimates, project plans, engineering plans, finances, risk and contingency, scope management and change control.
- Preparation of project documentation (PID, status reports, change control notes, Business Case, BRS, Test and other key documentation).
- Clearly articulate business requirements, business process, delivery plans and the benefits cases for programmes of work.
- Identify, contract with and then manage 3rd parties to deliver solutions.
- Ensure projects create all necessary documentation to enable the IT Service team to fully support the solution after the project has concluded.
Key Skills and Experiences
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- A Project Management industry recognised qualification (Prince2/APM).
- Excellent problem analysis, system design, troubleshooting and resolution skills.
- Project planning, estimation, requirements gathering and business case writing skills.
- 3rd party supplier selection, contracting and management.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate at all levels in a way which is appropriate to the audience including non-technical staff.
Desirable Skills and Experiences
- Technology-based degree or equivalent.
- Database knowledge including SQL.
- IT development knowledge using Microsoft skills.
- Knowledge of B2B information sharing platforms (extranets).
- Previous experience within professional services.
