Project Analyst - London

We're working with one of the most exciting Healthcare consultancies in the UK again as they are looking for a Project Data Analyst to work closely with the Lead Delivery team to support the onsite delivery of consultancy projects through the provision of analysis and reporting, PMO Support and work alongside client teams to embed the organisation's tools and data analytics. 

As an analyst you will spend approx. 50% on client site and the rest of your time working from home, you'll be expected to bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be self-starting, a strong communicator and an effective relationship builder. 

Roles and Responsibilities:  

Delivery:  
• Analytics & Reporting 

  • Accountable for all analysis on the engagement ensuring the quality and accuracy of all analysis and alignment of all outputs 
  • Identify, collate and analyse client data utilised during an engagement, acting as key liaison point with the data analytics team and client informatics team
  • Manipulate this data using established methodologies to enable and support the presentation of results to clients
  • Conduct adhoc analysis 
  • Produce reports and draft slide decks under the direction of workstream and delivery leads
  • Seek to identify trends and indicators of current practice 

 • PMO Support

  • Track relevant KPIs and numbers
  • Ensure any issues and risks are escalated to the Delivery Lead 
  • Plan and organise own diary to ensure good planning and utilisation  
  • Assist in the embedding of the organisation's analytics and tools with client teams  

Client:  

  • Work closely with client team members to ensure the organisation's analytical methodology is adhered to
  • Establish effective relationships with client teams and potentially oversee junior informatics 
  • Develop and support client data and presentations  

Insight:  

  • Develop an understanding of the range of methodologies and offerings and how they are underpinned by analytics in different client settings, appreciating the nature of trust operations and the challenges they face
  • Establish a baseline of core skills around analysis, modelling, problem solving and communications 

People:  

  •  Be an effective team member, contributing to discussions and meetings and supporting colleagues
  • Build an effective network within the business to support their work and personal development 

Required Skills and Experience:  
 

Analysis and Problem Solving: 

  • Experienced in the use of analytical techniques and able to build on/combine these to respond to different client scenarios
  • Able to lead internal and client teams in understanding data, models and outputs 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA & data modelling and basic SQL knowledge  

Project Management:  

  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail  

Communication: 

  • Clear communicator both oral and written
  • Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills 

Effective Team: 

  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and work autonomously as required
  • Adaptability and resilience 

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Ability to build strong, trust based relationships
  • Ability to influence and convey credibility
