Office & Accounts Administrator - Leicester

RattrayParkin are recruiting for an Office & Accounts Administrator to work for a well-established business based on Meridian Business Park.

Working in a small team and reporting to the Office Manager, you will be working in a very fast-paced and varied role, with constantly changing demands.

The accounts duties will include:

  • Creating invoices
  • Credit control
  • Inputting supplier invoices/credits on Sage
  • Supplier payments
  • Invoicing queries
  • Update CRM with purchase orders

You will also assist in a variety of administration roles such as:

  • Managing customer enquiries via telephone or email
  • Preparing quotations for customers
  • Liaising with operational team to plan work schedules
  • Diary bookings for site visits
  • Updating spreadsheets

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous administration and accounts experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a very busy office
  • Strong customer service focus

The client is seeking an administrator who can undertake the accounts admin as well. This is not a finance/accountancy role and no further progression can be offered in that area.

This role is quite demanding due to the fact that you can be asked to undertake any variety of jobs throughout the working day. It would be perfect for someone who likes to be kept busy and doesn’t want to be doing the same thing day in, day out.

If you are an experienced administrator with finance experience, who likes to work in a busy workplace with lots of variety with ever changing workloads, this should be the perfect role for you.

Hours of work are 8-5 for 3 days a week and 9-6 for 2 days (fixed days). 20 days plus 8 bank holidays and extra days for the Xmas shutdown.

There are 2 roles available – admin and accounts/admin.
