Management Accountant - Derby

RattrayParkin are partnered with an established business based in North West Leicestershire to recruit a Management Accountant.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the FP&A team and support the delivery of wider projects by providing management accounting support to colleagues within the business.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties which include management reporting, finance business partnering, budgeting & forecasting and financial planning/dashboard implementation. A strong financial background is required with the ability to speak confidently to both financial and non-finance stakeholders.

This role offers hybrid working with expectation of being office based at least 2-3 days each week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing timely and accurate management reporting for month and year end
• Finance business partnering with each division of the business
• Supporting the production of annual budget and forecasts
• Assisting the FP&A team as required with implementation of the finance dashboards and financial planning software
• Ad hoc reports and tasks as required

About you:

• Numerate and a keen eye for detail
• This is open to candidates who are qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous experience within a management accounting role
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v look ups etc)
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
