RattrayParkin are currently supporting the recruitment requirements of well positioned and ambitious manufacturing business (circa £20m turnover) which is seeking to recruit a high calibre IT & Business Process Manager. This is a key position to ensure the effective and efficient provision of IT and business process architecture capability throughout the Group.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced IT professional to gain valuable exposure and experience within a fast-moving and dynamic business, managing a highly capable and impressive team of 3.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a proactive member of the Senior Management team

• Manage and develop all IT and communications systems in line with the business needs and future strategic plans

• Plan and implement projects to cohesively and dynamically assist in delivering the IT Architecture and overall business strategy.

• Manage IT resources (staff, hardware and software) efficiently to meet the needs of business within agreed financial budget constraints

• Manage key IT suppliers to ensure that the business receives value for money services and support that meets the needs of the business' operations and objectives

• Ensure all IT systems are effective, stable and reliable with minimal downtime

• Business efficiency is improved by applying IT solutions, and where appropriate exploiting new technological developments

• Develop in conjunction with the wider management resources, IT systems that support the reporting / information needs of the business

• Provide effective support to all system users (including employees and customers in particular)

• AII IT procedures are fully documented, including trouble shooting guides for all potential systems failures, with at least 2 members of staff able to use them

• Ensure the continuity of operations with full risk management procedures to cover all potential 'business disasters' and disaster recovery for business systems

Required Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Have a good understanding of business processes & systems (not just IT)
• Strong leadership skills & work well in multi-disciplined teams
