RP Analytics have been retained by a rapidly growing, well funded, technology driven business in Birmingham who are looking to appoint the number 2 position in their pivotal IT Team.

The business provides housing and accommodation solutions, but importantly, their target market are young, up and coming, tech savvy individuals. As such; technology is going to be a key part of their offering going forward. With this in mind, they are seeking an individual who is passionate about technology, has the nouse of a true business partner, combined with the technical ability to deliver complex projects.

With a background in either Technical Development or Consultancy, you will be required to interact with key stakeholders across the business to deliver critical and sometimes complex projects. Working directly with the Head of IT, you will be supported in delivering a first class IT service to all business users.

Requirements;

Own and manage the portfolio of Business System projects and define their merits both tangible & non-tangible.
Propose & Agree project priorities with the Head of IT.
Utilise project management tools and methodologies to ensure business systems projects are properly planned and executed in a controlled manner in agreed timescales.
Transition live systems to the support team and ensure adequate training is developed and delivered.
Manage 3rd Parties in respect to Infrastructure Project implementation
Deputise for the Head of IT
Where necessary build an internal development team and manage that team in the delivery and support of the business systems.

Technical Requirements;

Have strong experience of multiple lifecycle disciplines, Waterfall & Scrum.
Demonstrable experience of system Integrations such as Data Warehousing and Umbrella Reporting Solutions.
Demonstrable experience of API Programming, both at the Web and Application layer.
Be a strong Project Manager who can demonstrate past successes.
Have strong hands on SQL Server knowledge, SSIS, SSRS etc
Process analysis and problem solving
Relevant experience in transitioning application services into live.
ITIL Foundation Qualified
Prince2 Qualified (Preferred)
