Group Management Accountant - Derby

RattrayParkin are supporting the recruitment requirements of rapidly growing business in South Derbyshire who are recruiting a Group Management Accountant. This is a newly created key position within the business.

This role will provide financial guidance and support for the wider group of companies and will be responsible for coordinating and managing key group financial reporting, month end processes, financial analysis and compliance.

The role will be a strong number two and would suit a candidate with previous experience of group accounting and supervising/managing people.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate the month end process

• Prepare consolidated monthly group accounts, including KPI Board packs

• Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and review

• Business partner for departmental cost centres

• Line manager for two direct reports

About you:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification with at least 1- 2 years post-qualified experience
• Advance MS Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work at pace always ensuring precise attention to detail
• Experience of working within a Group environment
