Group Accountant - Northampton

RattrayParkin are working with a market-leading business in Kettering to recruit a Group Accountant on a temporary contract.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the group corporate restructuring for EMEA and associated accounting deliverables and to provide support with local statutory reporting. Assisting with preparation of statutory accounts and tax information.

Key Responsibilities include:

• To prepare all necessary accounting entries and documentation for the entity liquidation entity project and recording on step plans. This will also involve liaising with US Corporate Finance, Local US reporting team and external advisors to answer queries on the above reporting.
   
• Assist in the completion of the annual statutory entity audits by compiling financial statements and liaising with external auditors as required for circa 15-20 subsidiaries. Statutory accounting includes entities in the UK, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Switzerland all on a local GAAP basis.
   
• Assist the EMEA Financial Reporting Manager /Finance Controller with ad hoc tasks and projects as required from time to time.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified ACA or ACCA
• Experience in production of UK GAAP financial statements
• Financial Accounting experience preferably in a large multi-national/multi-currency business environment
• Group Consolidation experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
