Full Stack Developer - Manchester

Our client are a Tech business with a very impressive track record of growth in recent years and an even more impressive plan to continue that growth and success for the next 5+ years. As part of this plan they have created a brand new Full Stack Developer role to sit within the wider IT team and relieve other colleagues of development responsibilities. 

Full Stack Developer duties include:

• Participating in the design and creation of scalable websites and services

• Writing clean, functional front and back-end code

• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

Responsibilities

• Work with our development team and other departments to create software solutions

• Design client-side and server-side architecture

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Create and maintain web services for internal and external partner use

Essential Skills & Experience

• 3+ years development in C# .NET, ASP.NET and MVC

• Experience with developing web applications with .NET CORE 

• Proficient at coding with Angular, jQuery or Vue.js

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2016+)

• Development of APIs (preferably REST and SOAP)

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of working with Git and continuous integration software (Team City, Jenkins, or similar)

• Experienced in writing unit tests and TDD

• Working with Azure or AWS hosting 

• CSS and SASS

• Experience with Bootstrap or similar
