RattrayParkin are delighted to be recruiting for a Permeant Finance Analyst to join a highly successful Manufacturing Company based in the East Midlands
Working alongside the Managing Director, you will be pivotal in providing detailed financial reports, analysis and strategic input for the finance function. Working alongside senior leaders and stakeholders, you will drive strategic planning, ensure robust controls are in place and seek to improve existing processes. Manufacturing experience is essential.
Key duties
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including 5-year plan, Business Planning and Re-forecasting
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of all reporting, identifying areas for improvement
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships to support financial, operational and strategic decision making
• Provide commercial insight to support planning, forecasting and operational planning
• Review and deliver processes that maximise profitability
• Finance Lead for 5-year strategic plan and deliver recommendations
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Experience within a commercial and/or FMCG/Manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of cross-functional engagement (inc. stakeholders)
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to prioritise effectively and make tough decisions
• Strong commercial awareness with a focus on profitability
• Can plan and manage work-streams across multiple teams
• Build strong relationships and influence others
• Advanced Excel skills
The role requires a candidate with a proven record of working with commercial teams, reviewing top level figures and delivering comprehensive strategic plans. You must be able to demonstrate previous experience in such a role.
Academic qualifications:
Ideally fully qualified ACCA or CIMA equivalent, part qualified & qualified by experience will be considered.
