RattrayParkin are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a leading service sector business in Northamptonshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to take responsibility for the financial control heading up day to day activities.

This role will help drive their ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities: 

To ensure all reporting is of the highest standard and prepared in an efficient and timely manner. The Controller will be responsible for firstly building and then preparing all monthly management accounts.

Work with the team and FD to implement scalable process and procedures
Production of the Annual Report and Accounts
Compliance with the Company’s accounting policies and procedures
Initiate projects to develop, refine and/or optimise business processes and reports
Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes through sage
Implement cash management and forecasting processes.
Implement Treasury management processes and policies.
Work with the FD in preparation of Board Papers and any other ad hoc papers as required

About you:

Dynamic, confident and proactive
Previous experience as a Financial Controller in an SME environment
ACA or CIMA Qualified (3+ years PQE)
Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
Strong Excel
