RattrayParkin are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a market leading manufacturing business in North Nottinghamshire.
Working alongside members of the finance team and operations team, this is an excellent opportunity to have a significant impact on the delivery of outstanding commercial performance.
This role will involve improving financial awareness across the business, decision making through enhanced reporting and high-calibre business partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, capture data for and analyse a suite of Operational Finance KPIs
- Ensure complete and accurate recording of labour planning and deployment and analyse vs standard
- Work closely with senior operational colleagues to use data and analysis to drive operational efficiency gains
- Main point of contact for NPD, Supply chain & Commercial team for all product costings
- Maintain & update product costings, evolving as necessary
- Support NPD / Commercial team product costing process
- Provide meaningful P&L of operational performance – daily, weekly and monthly
- Create robust process for the set-up and maintenance of BOM’s (Bills of materials) and products within the system
- Ad-hoc reporting on stock movements and variances
- Reporting process through metrics of manufacturing cost variances
- Support wider finance team ad-hoc around holidays & periodic period end reporting
- Weekly reporting, weekly flash and ad-hoc monthly reporting as and when required
