Finance Analyst - Leicester

RattrayParkin are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a corporate Head Office team based in Leicester. You will be part of an expanding FP&A team that support a UK wide network of business units.

The role will be varied and is based around reviewing customer accounts with regard to pricing, margin and contribution. You will also provide forecasting support. You act as a business partner, working closely with the sales and revenue teams.

Overview of duties:

  • Evaluate the profitability of annual and multi year contracts negotiated with Corporate accounts.
  • Maintain contribution models to ensure contribution hurdles and annual increases deliver planned revenues and profits.
  • Understand the impact on profitability from any promotion, marketing fund or rebate offered to a reseller.
  • Apply strategic guidelines on rates and ancillaries when renegotiating contracts.
  • Identify the main revenue and cost channels for individual accounts in order to understand what drives their profitability.
  • Work closely with named account managers to protect the profitability of any contract being negotiated.
  • Attend ad-hoc customer negotiation meetings to support sales team.
  • Ensure pricing authorisation policy is adhered to by the sales teams.
  • Work with the new business sales team in order to fully understand the needs of potential corporate clients and assist in building models to bid for new and incremental business.
  • Monthly financial forecasts through customer feedback and trend analysis.
  • Understanding demand across the network and providing recommendations on corporate pricing and/or restrictions in order to maximize revenue.
