eCommerce Manager - Warwickshire

A well-established and reputable client of ours is actively looking for a specialist eCommerce Manager to join their team at their Warwickshire based office. With offices in the UK and the US, they are looking to rapidly grow their team following their success in their market. The eCommerce Manager will work with the Head of Marketing on the definition and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy that supports the business in its wider objectives and delivers a solid return on investment. You will be expected to lead and develop a dynamic and talented digital marketing team, motivating them to perform to the best of their ability. Manage the team to deliver an ongoing digital improvement programme focused around the customer journey and conversion optimisation onsite, and innovative traffic driving strategies offsite, targeted at their key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Marketing, develop a robust digital marketing strategy, and annual activity plan that supports business objectives,
  • Lead and develop a talented digital marketing team, motivating them to perform to the best of their ability.
  • Work with the Marketing Communications Manager, develop and deliver an engaging, customer focused content strategy that is built on the 'create once, use many times' philosophy and support their overall marketing strategy, primarily across owned and earned media channels.
  • Design and deliver a rolling onsite digital improvement programme focused around the customer journey and conversion optimisation, including but not limited to CRO and CTAs, onsite search, SEO rich content etc.
  • Design and deliver an offsite acquisition strategy that is aimed at driving relevant traffic to their sites, improving their site visibility and authority, including a clear plan for paid advertising and deliver ROI and profitability.
  • Produce clear and concise reporting for all projects and ongoing activity, providing recommendations on how improvements can be made and showing genuine ROI.
  • Develop and maintain good levels of business knowledge and understanding through strong working relationships with other departments and the wider group.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in the wider industry and digital market.

Key Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in Digital/eCommerce Marketing.
  • Team leadership and management experience.
  • CIM Level 6 Diploma or equivalent Marketing qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience in the design and execution of effective digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Strong background in digital communications strategies.
  • Experience of managing budgets and the planning process.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing several projects at once.​
