Digital Project Manager - Leicester

A mobile app development company are looking to recruit a Digital Project Manager to work at their Leicester based office. They are looking to expand their talented team to take ideas from concept to reality.

The business specialises in creating mobile applications to help business improve productivity, time management and save money. As the Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing and finalising projects according to deadlines and within budgets. This includes training and coordinating the efforts of the team members and keeping stakeholders up to date.

With a background in Technical/IT Project Management, you will be required to ensure projects run smoothly and to get the right processes in place for future developer roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple digital projects concurrently
• Develop full-scale project plans
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
• Fostering clear and effective communication
• Motivate team members, and encourage participation in group activities
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve the project goals
• Draft and submit budget proposals
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using the appropriate tools
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas
• Manage changes in project scope
• Conduct project retrospects and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Testing of mobile applications or software
