RP Analytics are working with an extremely high-growth Software & Services business based in North East London who are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence contractor on an initial 3 month term but with a possible view to extend. 

The purpose of the role is to provide the skills and expertise required to provide their customers with ‘best in class’ experience in respect of the performance of the software and hardware they have purchased from the client. 
 
Responsible for the Automation and production of accurate, consistent and timely reports for the Operations function using SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services.  
Conducting analysis, create data cubes and data models, identification of process inefficiencies, understanding the data and identifying solutions though the use of process improvement, reports and provision of relevant tools by means of small projects.  
 
Essential Requirements; 
  • Strong SQL Server 2005 and 2014 skills (minimum 3 years experience):
    • Microsoft SQL server knowledge including creation complex queries in T-SQL, stored procedures, user defined functions, query optimisation.
  • Strong SSIS skills (minimum 1 year experience):
    • Create and implement robust ETL processes
  • Strong SSRS skills (minimum 1 year experience):
    • Creating and maintaining dynamic online reports and dashboards.
  • Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills:
    • Significant previous technical, analytical, IT or finance systems related background.
    • Some prior experience of problem solving in a data reporting environment.
  • • Communication Skills:
    • Proven experience interacting directly with end users.
    • Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Software Knowledge:
    • Advanced level use of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, graphs, pivot tables and some knowledge of macros.
  • Personal Organisation:
    • Must be able to manage own time and work priorities.
