This business has grown over the years, both through constant success and big wins as well as the acquisition of competitors. The current data team is made up of 8 people as well as an extended IT team but they have some very exciting plans to grow the BI team over the next 6-24 months, thus offering excellent opportunities for development and progression. 

What you'll do

  • Creating, maintaining and developing databases in a multitude of environments
  • Building data transformations with SSIS, transferring data
  • Managing in-house software projects, working closely with other departments
  • Document your progress and suggest better ways of doing things
  • Manage the expectations of key stakeholders at all times
  • Provide system analytics, architecture and design
  • Data integration and workflow designs
  • Ad-hoc system administration support

Who they're looking for

A multiskilled developer who is a natural problem solver who also has;

  • Experience in SQL programming. Writing stored procedures, functions, views etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Experience in C# programming.
  • Experience in designing and developing ETL processes connection to variety of systems and processing of large volumes of data
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to create, maintain and develop a database ensuring it is fit for purpose at each stage
  • IT Industry experience in SQL development 
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Knowledge of Object oriented programming concepts and BI/MI concepts.
