BI Analyst - Derby

RP Analytics are recruiting for a Derby based Business Intelligence Analyst to join a client in the automotive sector's growing BI team. As a key member of the Business Intelligence team, the successful candidate will work closely with internal departments, using varied analysis techniques to identify opportunities and uncover trends in key business processes.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Provide management information to review performance and aid informed decision-making.
• Adopt a proactive approach to data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
• Respond efficiently to ad-hoc requests for data extracts or analysis.
• Acquire a deep understanding of processes and data and highlight opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills/Experience: 

• Inquisitive and passionate about data and analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Highly numerate.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong SQL Server / T-SQL knowledge.
• Knowledge of visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) would be an advantage.
