Analytics Manager - Birmingham

RP Analytics are working with a global financial services business that has offices up and down the UK to recruit an analytics manager. Ideally this role will be based in the Birmingham city centre offices but other locations including Leeds can also be considered. 

You will be responsible for; 

Support the design, development, delivery, maintenance and communication of Business Performance Data Transformational activity. Including;

  • Maintenance and enhancement of existing SAS automated scheduler
  • Development of new, innovative ways to drive automation efficiencies across Business Performance, including reporting and analysis activities
  • Take a leading role in the management of data structure for Business Performance – ensuring data definitions and use of data is aligned and used consistently across Business Performance team
  • Establish new ways of sourcing existing data, or establish new data feeds, that enhance the MI/analysis we provide.
  • Act as SME across team on data, and drive a ‘modernised’ approach to sourcing, harvesting and sharing of data.
  • Support wider strategic projects as SME on the sourcing of new data.

To be successful in this role you will have; 

  • Technical experience in delivering business solutions using SAS, SQL, Tera data, Python
  • Experience driving automation and efficiency of process/ways of working
  • Leading change/ways of working/project management – change delivered in data extraction, handling and presentation of data
  • Line management would be useful although the role does not have it (initially anyway) but will be a leader across the team. So line manager experience will show that you are capable of leading.
